Deployment Architecture
Our deployment architecture securely separates your databases and all data within your own AWS environment (data plane) from Tessell’s metadata-only control plane. Databases run privately within your network with no inbound access, communicating securely via outbound HTTPS API calls. User authentication is managed through integrated SSO (Okta, G Suite, Active Directory).
Security Architecture
Tessell operates with strict least-privilege access, limited to a specific resource group within your environment and unable to read, write, update, or delete any resources outside of its scope. Within the designated workspace, Tessell uses only the networks (BYON) and encryption keys (BYOK) you provide, without the ability to create, modify, or delete them, ensuring full control remains with you.
